All that wedding talk earlier reminded me of my Wedding Shadow Box project I did this winter.
You see, I may or may not have ended up with close to, well… 100 or so extra… well, everything. I had about 100 extra programs, invitations, save the dates… you name it – I had extras. And the really weird thing is, no one wants them – even for free. Some minor detail of my and Preston’s names being all over them I guess. ;)
Regardless, I saw a very simple wedding shadow box on Pinterest, where they put their save the date, invitation, and program in a shadow box. And I thought, ‘Hey, I can do that!’ I ended up getting a little carried away with feeling like I had to include every little thing – but I am happy with how it turned out.
I got a shadow box, some glue dots, & some decorative stickers at Hobby Lobby and everything else was just leftover stuff from our wedding. I now have it hanging up in my living room next to my favorite wedding picture.
